The East Greenbuh Amateur Radio Association will celebrate its 20th anniversary on December 1st by operating Special Event Station W2EGB, the club's call sign.  The station will operate from 2pm to 9pm Eastern Standard Time on 3,840, 7,240, 14, 340 and 28,340.  Depending on band conditions, other frequencies may also be used.

Each member of the club will have the opportunity to participate, using their own station and the club's call sign.  QSOs will be acknowledged with Special Event QSL cards returned to all stations which send a self-addressed stamp envelope to the club's mailing address: EGARA, Box 25, East Greenbush, NY 12061.

The East Greenbush Amateur Radio Association was organized in 1998, by Bert Bruins, N2FPJ, (SK) and Chris Linck, N2NEH.  EGARA, an ARRL affiliate, is committed to providing emergency services, educational programs, and operating resources to amateur radio operators and residents of the Capital Region of New York State.  The club station is W2EGB. The club also has several VHF and UHF repeaters open to club members and the public.
